My relationship with cigars started long before Cigars & Memories.
One of my earliest memories goes back to Cuba, when I was nine years old. I wasn't smoking, of course, but I remember the atmosphere: the smell of tobacco, the gestures, the conversations and the people around it.
Years later, I understood something: the cigar itself was only part of what I remembered.
My career in luxury hospitality took me from France to Hong Kong, Doha, Dubai, California and back to Paris, working in environments where attention to detail can completely transform an experience.
That philosophy naturally became part of my approach to cigars.
In 2017, I created Cigars & Memories to share this passion. What started as an Instagram page gradually became a platform for encounters, education, collaborations and experiences.
Along the way, I have had the opportunity to work and exchange with cigar houses, craftsmen and brands such as Elie Bleu, Boveda, Maya Selva Cigars, Royal Habano, Rozelieures, Champagne Eugène Thiébault, AnāsA Collection and many others. I have also brought this approach into hospitality through cigar training, workshops and consulting, including at the Yacht Club de Monaco.
But the more I discover this world, the less I believe it should be about rules.
A darker cigar isn't necessarily stronger. Whisky isn't the only possible pairing. And the highest-rated cigar isn't automatically the one you will enjoy most.
The most important palate is your own.
Today, Cigars & Memories is about everything surrounding the cigar: craftsmanship, people, places, pairings, service and the stories behind them.
From Paris to Monaco, Dortmund, Madrid and beyond, every encounter continues to shape this vision.
Because ultimately, a cigar disappears.
The memory of the moment doesn't.
